Music videos: Any favourites ?

What makes a good music video ?? What are you favourites? please let me know by commenting here as i am trying to collect and research interesting clips for a new scheme of work on music videos... I am tired of seeing the same old RnB videos with a guy writhing around in his 'ice' whilst a) cars go buy b) girls go by c) girls and cars go by, then all his mates jump around behind him pointing their fingers like guns ... babies do that !!! there are much better ways to make a video ...

here is a good video ..... cheap to produce ... great idea .. and ..crucially.. NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE .. unlike most music videos you see.. OK GO . here it goes again

here is an example of a pathetic video with no thought or interesting ideas put into it... in fact its better than the actual song... which makes women look like tools and rappers look like fools... this is swag... T.I - whatever you like.....

Film Making: Think about your composition

I know i am always banging on about this.. but it really helps if your shots are well thought out and composed.. dont be afraid to use lots of closeups and use high and low angles for effect.. look at this clip of the Matrix (lego version) look how interesting this scene is using lots of closeups!! Yours should do this too if you film is all shot in medium long shot i will go crazy and your mark will be bad !!
